Muddy's Coffeehouse - 3/9/2008 This is a sweet little coffee shop just off the beaten path of the Country Club Plaza.  You will definitely get a taste of the locals in this area.  The staff is very cordial and the drinks are excellent.  They have a full menu of specialty drinks and a small menu of Panini Sandwiches.  They offer soups and have a space setup with computers for the occasional internet cruiser.  They do have free wireless internet if you have your own laptop in which I am writing this review from right now.

Hattie's Coffee - 11/3/2007 Don't forget cash unless you plan on purchasing more than $5 with a card. They also have wireless internet.

Dunn Bros Coffee - 11/3/2007 Get on their email list and get coupons for drinks. They are now serving gelato! There's a list of flavors, but I haven't tried them to know how they taste. There's plenty of small seating available. They also have a couple computers available for you to surf the net briefly. And they added a new service - curb side pick up. Call 913-381-3030 and pull up in the front and they will bring your coffee to you. (A Starbucks drivethru recently opened down the street). ~Sliu

Barnes & Noble Country Club Plaza - 9/17/2007 Barnes and Noble serves Starbucks. It's a hotspot area. There are a bunch of individual tables but they are often crowded by people who use the bookstore as a library so there will probably be piles of books that have no home.

Roasterie Cafe - 8/8/2007 I love Roasterie!  The people are super nice, and it's a great place to study or hang out with friends.  Also, they have a student discount.  After 6pm, show your student ID and you get 20% off!
